LEAGUE CUP

This season, The League Cup is a 32 player competition with 5 knockout rounds, where players are pitted against other players and asked to predict a number of outcomes of 1 or several featured football matches. Points are accumulated for correct outcomes (or in some instances shared or won by neither player depending upon the result) with the player getting more points than their opponent progressing to the next round. In the event both are tied the player drawn to the winning team will progress/win.

CHAMPIONS CUP

This season Champions Cup is a 16 player competition with 4 knockout rounds that mirror the UEFA Champions League. Players are assigned teams from the Champions League and play for points accumulated from correct outcomes with the player getting more points than their opponent progressing to the next round. Right now, in the event of a tie, the player whose team wins will progress. Details of the semi finals expected on Mon 22 Apr 2024.

END OF YEAR AND EASTER TROPHIES

The End Of Year Trophy was a cup competition that took place during PS7's Christmas Break. It featured players obtaining points from predicting the outcomes of 17 football matches over a first round league format which decided the 4 semi-finalists. Those players then predicted outcomes of 4 more matches to decide the overall winner, second, third and fourth places. It was backed by EDF who kindly allocated £160 worth of prizes which have been sent to all players.

By winning this competition, she was the first to claim her place in this summer's EURO Super 7. The other finalist and the 2 losing semi finalists also claimed their place. Well done to Charisse Cabanas, Robert McBride and Mark Mason.

Another £40 of EDF backed prize money is assigned to the Easter Trophy which was claimed by Boniswa Kubeka. It involved players predicting the outcomes of 10 Premier League matches as well as predicting the total number of goals in each of those matches.
