A PS7 League is a group of individual players (football fans) who compete against each other over a period of 30 weeks to determine the champion and promotion to the summer tournament.
They do this through scheduled game weeks which involve them predicting the outcomes of 7 football matches. A correct outcome results in the gaining of 1 point. Points gained throughout these weeks and the season determine their position in the league.
For each match, players, via an emailed weekly submission form (although the form can be located in many places), are asked to predict the outcomes of 7 selected matches with choices of a 'home win', 'away win', or a 'draw'. Real life football matches selected will usually be in progress from Friday evening to the following Monday evening and entries are usually required by 6pm UK Time on the Friday.
Players are allocated a goal (1 point) for each correct outcome.
League positions are determined by total points and if tied the last week a player played the game. If still tied at season's end a play off round will occur.
